Michaela Tabb joins Legends of the Cue for a revealing four-part conversation about her remarkable journey from competitive pool player to one of the most respected referees in snooker and pool. Michaela recalls growing up in Scotland, representing her country, winning major pool titles, meeting husband Ross McInnes, and accidentally launching a refereeing career that led to the Mosconi Cup and encounters with legends including Earl Strickland and Efren Reyes.
She also shares the pressure of entering professional snooker without the traditional refereeing pathway, her first Crucible experience, the setback of losing her contract in 2003, and the pride of becoming the first woman to referee a World Snooker Championship final in 2009. Michaela reflects on Ronnie O’Sullivan, family life, her 2015 departure from the tour, On Cue World, and the legacy she hopes to leave behind.
